Helen and Ben were married here on Waiheke Island, and had their spectacular wedding planned by Auckland company Dream Wedding Creators. We did most of their photos down at Oneroa Beach, but had also received special permission to take some shots at Cable Bay Vineyard, so we spent about 10 minutes there at the end of the shoot and got some amazing photos!

Lisa and Paul were planning on getting married at Whakanewha Regional Park, but fell back on their “Plan B”, when the day developed into a drizzly one, and instead tied the knot inside the Rocky Bay Hall, on the south western side of Waiheke Island. The light drizzle lasted on and off all day, but cleared up enough for us to do a great shoot down by the boats at Rocky Bay. We ended the session shooting in front of the old burnt out Rocky Bay Store with the bridal car – a beautiful forest green Holden Monaro GTS. Mmmm, gotta love those classic cars!

Kate and Rewi had a beautiful wedding at Mudbrick Vineyards here on Waiheke. A very heartfelt ceremony with lots of wonderful moments. We went down to Oneroa Beach for their creative photography session after the ceremony, and then returned to Mudbrick for the reception, where they were greeted by a haka performed by their family and friends. A great day!
