Shelley and Dan
Last year I photographed Shelleys’ sister Duana’s wedding, and I was delighted when Shelley asked me to photograph her wedding to Dan this year. Having had a little bit of experience with the Foster family, I knew this would be a fun wedding with lots of laughs and love bouncing around … and I wasn’t wrong!
Shelley and Dan had 5 beautiful flowergirls, including their two gorgeous daughters - there were some pretty cute moments at Karma hairdressers in Ostend as everyone was excitedly getting ready.
Shelley is a make-up artist and not only did she make herself look absolutely stunning, but she also managed to do the make up for all four of her bridesmaids! Very impressive
The girls dancing around excitedly before we all left for the ceremony.
Shelley and Dan had their ceremony at Rangihoua Estate, which was an awesome venue for all the children to run around in. They had also set up a bouncy castle, which was great fun!
The ceremony was just beautiful. As often happens as hands warm up with the excitement of the day, the ring can feel a bit snug at the critical moment – makes for good expressions though!
We went to Whakanepha regional park for the photos; I love it out there, it’s so lovely and quiet – a true piece of New Zealand.
Whooping it up on the sand with the bridal party…
The gorgeous couple;
One of Lance’s crazy shots of the bridal party – hmmm, what the mice get up to while the cats are busy looking gorgeous!
And to end with, one of my favourite photos from the day…
Thanks Shelley and Dan for a fabulous wedding – it was a delight to be able to capture the day for you.
