I was privileged to be asked to photograph Amanda and David’s wedding last weekend at The Boatshed.  It was a very intimate affair with a lovely vibe to it.  Amanda looked absolutely stunning in a  Jane Yeh creation and some rather gorgeous shoes (yes, I was suffering a wee touch of shoe envy!)

A little card gifted to the couple by their nieces… so CUTE!

Now it’s starting to get exciting!

The weather had been absolutely dire all day, stormy and grey.  Just before their ceremony was about to begin the weather started to lift and by the time we got outside for a few stolen shots before the sun went down we had some really lovely light to play with.

Spurred on by my “don’t worry, I haven’t got your heads in this shot” comment which I made while I was taking the above photograph, Amanda and David started to blow raspberries at each other.  Well, I mean really, I couldn’t let that opportunity pass me by now, could I?

The sun was moving quickly but before it left, a gorgeous glowing sunset made a brief appearence. 

Just magical.  Thanks Amanda and David – it was a truly beautiful wedding!
