This year’s Kodak Gold Awards received over 800 entries so I was delighted to receive 2 Golds and 2 Silvers for my work this year. The two golds were both for wedding work – one Gold Award for a print and one Gold Award for a wedding album and the Silvers were for portrait photos – one from a “Bellies” session and one from the “Babes” session of the same lovely family! How cool is that!?

Ooh, this was a lovely, lovely wedding at Cable Bay Vineyard! Tania and Robin are based in the UK and flew into Waiheke along with their family and friends for their beautiful wedding day. Robin got ready for the ceremony at a private residence in Kennedy Point with his family and close friends while Tania and her bridesmaids and family spent their pre-ceremony time at Waiheke Heights in Palm Beach.

I LOVED Tania’s stylish hairdo! She looked just stunning…

A sneaky ceremony shot!

Tania and Robin had a double decker London Bus as their means of transport…

Blowing raspberries!! Classic! These guys were such a laugh!
And then we were off down to Oneroa Beach to take advantage of the yummy light.

The Chaps with their Chap-Stick.
The is one of my favourite shots from the day…

Back at Cable Bay we had just enough time for a few shots down in their cellar…

Tania and Robin, thanks again – it was a great pleasure being involved in your stylish and “effortlessly” stunning wedding. You guys made it look easy!

Matt and Jen were married at The Estate in Church Bay. They had a fabulous and fun group of bridemaids and groomsmen, including a male bridemaid (is that a bridesman??) who wore a stylish suit and was adorned with a tiny diamante hair jewel!
The handsome groom…

Jen’s dress was from the Orchid collection from Kate Dowman and had a beautiful sash detail which looked stunning.

The gorgeous bride…

I loved the expressions in this photo below when Jen and Matt first stood before each other.

After the ceremony we went down to Oneroa Beach for our “Creative Shoot”. These sessions are always good fun and especially so when there is a large bridal party involved. Below is our “reservoir dogs” inspired boys shot.

Thanks Matt and Jen, what a great wedding! Lots of laughs and fun along with some lovely tender moments – just perfect!
