This year’s Small Things Exhibition is on until the 26th April at the Waiheke Island Community Art Gallery. Catch yourself a thing of beauty from the large selection of small works from a variety of local artists including Matthew Muir, Wendy Bennett and Stuart Jobling. Delaney and Matthew were married at the ever-gorgeous Mudbrick Vineyard here on Waiheke Island.  They live over in the UK so their friends and family travelled from all over the globe to celebrate their wedding day with them in style!

The day dawned in spectacular fashion but then a bit of wind started to whip up and it ended up turning into one of those crazy weather days where you get all four seasons in one day.  We were lucky that the brooding weather held off for the most part of the day with only a sprinkle of rain to work around during the creative shoot.  Delaney had a gorgeous bridal gown with a stunning long train and veil and the girls were dressed in beautiful black cocktail dresses.

On with the photos… I can always tell it’s going to be a good wedding when there are two cans of ‘V’ lined up for the groom!   (OK, I admit that I lined them up for the photo!)

Delaney’s hair and make-up was done by Auckland make up artist Hannah Taylor and her flowers were by Waiheke florist Wildflower.

Delaney was given away by her brother Callum and their close bond was really evident through-out the wedding day.
