When Russian-born Canadian bride Oksana married her Kiwi love at Mudbrick Vineyard a couple of weeks ago it was a truly international affair, with guests coming from all corners of the world.
Oksana and Jono got ready together at ‘Brent’s House‘, a stunning private residence which is available for hire in Onetangi. Although they were in the same house they carefully managed to avoid seeing each other and enjoyed a first look meeting on one of the upper decks soon after I arrived.
There are pretty epic views from Brent’s House and while I went up a level and shot the panorama above, my assistant Jennifer Anderson took this dramatic image below.
I pulled out my trusty lensbabie for a few images… I love playing with this lens, and especially adore the sense of stillness in the photo of Oksana below.
Love this image!
Oksana’s gown was simple and elegant with a wee touch of ‘bling’. It was perfectly suited to the whole feel of the wedding day, which was relaxed and easy… happy people sharing their day with those they love.
Mudbrick Vineyard was looking lovely. The cloud cover that we started our day with had moved off providing a clear blue sky with wisps of cloud… I imagine the boys were feeling a little warm in their morning suits!
Jennifer’s photographs of the reception venue captured Oksana and Jono’s colour scheme of fresh yellow and white nicely. Flowers by Lainy from Waiheke Flower Company
Oksana and Jono is was a pleasure to capture your day for you… I hope you enjoy your little preview of the many images coming your way soon!
